What can a VA help you with?

People often know they are busy and need help, but they are not always sure what they could delegate to a virtual assistant (VA). Here are some real examples of how I help my clients. As you read them, ask yourself:

Is this a problem you have in your business?

This is how I help my clients: keeping CRM systems up to date

I help clients make sure the information in their customer relationship management (CRM) systems is accurate, complete and useful. I add new customers and clients, update existing records, clean up duplicate or outdated data, and fill in missing details. This gives them a reliable source of information and makes it easier to follow up with the right people.

Is this a problem you have? Perhaps customer details are stored in different places, records are incomplete, or updating your CRM is a job that keeps falling to the bottom of your list.

This is how I help my clients: organising appointments

I respond to appointment enquiries, agree suitable dates and times, and add confirmed appointments to my clients’ calendars. I also send customers any information they need beforehand, explain what they should bring, and make sure my client has the details they need to prepare. This reduces email back-and-forth and gives the customer a clear, professional experience.

Is this a problem you have? Perhaps arranging each appointment takes several messages, important details are easily missed, or diary management is taking you away from other work.

This is how I help my clients: creating social media content

I help clients turn social media from a task that is always hanging over them into a more consistent process. I suggest content ideas, create graphics and posts in Canva, edit short videos, draft captions, and prepare content for review and publishing. The support is shaped around their brand, audience and preferred level of involvement.

Is this a problem you have? Perhaps you struggle to post consistently, run out of ideas, or know what you want to say but do not have time to create the content.

This is how I help my clients: researching and organising events

I research venues, suppliers and activities, gather prices and availability, and organise the options so my clients can make informed decisions without spending hours searching. Once they have made their choices, I can also help keep the arrangements and information together in one place.

Is this a problem you have? Perhaps you have an event in mind but feel overwhelmed by the research, comparisons and many small details involved.

This is how I help my clients: finding better systems

I look at processes that feel repetitive, disorganised or more expensive than they need to be. I research tools and systems that could automate routine tasks, bring information together more clearly, or offer better value. I then present the most suitable options so my clients can choose a solution that fits their business.

Is this a problem you have? Perhaps your current systems no longer work well, you repeat the same manual tasks, or you suspect there is a simpler and more cost-effective way to work.

What could you hand over?

Think about the tasks that take up your time, keep being pushed to the bottom of your list, or stop you focusing on the work only you can do. You do not need to begin with a huge project. We can start with one time-consuming problem, create a simple process and build from there.

Do any of these problems sound familiar? Get in touch and let’s talk about what is taking up your time and how I could help.
